IHCTM students excel yet again at the IATA/UFTAA and IATA/FIATA examinations with an overall record of 55 distinctions !!!

 

 


The results of the September IATA/UFTAA and October IATA/FIATA examination sessions are out and IHCTM students excelled in their exams yet again. IHCTM organized a Diploma Awarding Function at the World Trade Centre, Mumbai on Friday, 21st December 2007.

Mr Shekhar Thakur, Sales & Marketing Manager – India for South African Airways Cargo was present at the awarding function and he shared his views on the fast growing Air Cargo Industry. Over 100 students were present at WTC to receive diplomas although overall there were 165 students who appeared for the IATA/UFTAA and IATA/FIATA examinations in September and October respectively out of which 127 of them were successful including 55 distinction diploma holders. IHCTM has been the pioneer of Travel, Tourism, Cargo and Airline Training in India since 1971 and also has the unique distinction of being the first authorized training centre in India to offer all the 4 levels of the IATA/UFTAA programmes – Foundation, Consultant, Travel and Tourism Management as well as Travel and Tourism Senior Management, and also the IATA/FIATA Cargo Introductory, Air Cargo Rating and Dangerous Goods Examination.

Also, present at the function was Subhash Motwani, Director – IHCTM  and Chief Faculty for IATA programmes as well as holder of 23 IATA qualifications.
